Casualties involved in reported road accidents (RAS30)

• Summary:

  Data about casualties involved in reported road accidents, produced by Department for Transport.

  Tables accompanying the main results publication have been consolidated to keep the same information available to users while removing duplication as follows:

  casualties by severity and road user type: tables RAS30003, RAS30004 and RAS30005 have been removed to be covered by an extended version of table RAS30001, which now contains both annual and quarterly information

  casualties by road user type and age: table RAS30002 has been removed to be covered by an extended version of table RAS30024

  casualties by severity, region and local authority: table RAS30008 has been removed to be covered by an extended version of table RAS30038

  The information in the following casualty-level tables is now provided through our new custom download tool: RAS30009, RAS30014, RAS30015, RAS30016, RAS30028, RAS30033, RAS30039, RAS30046, RAS30053, RAS30062, RAS30065, RAS30065, RAS30066, RAS30067, RAS30068, RAS30072, RAS30073, RAS30074, RAS30079, RAS30080.

  The following casualty-level tables were identified as being rarely used and have therefore been removed: RAS30019, RAS30021, RAS30022, RAS30023, RAS30029, RAS30030, RAS30037, RAS30044, RAS30071, RAS30075, RAS30076, RAS30077, RAS30078. The last version of these tables continues to be available via the National Archives.

  Additionally, the following tables were identified as redundant and have therefore been removed: RAS30036, RAS30058, RAS30060, RAS30061, RAS30063, RAS30069. The last version of these tables continues to be available via the National Archives.

  Table RAS30018 has been updated to correct a minor error that was identified after the recent publication. The statistical release has not been affected.
