• Summary:

  The Variable Message System (VMS) is the electronic message boards that appear on the major highways around Birmingham.

  This data shows the same message as appears on those message boards such as traffic congestion and estimate times to get to a junction.

  The VMS data is updated every 30 minutes with a historic view to the data being available.

  We are currently running this on a 9am to 5pm schedule as it is a proof of concept.
